M.G. not only stands for my initials but also my work: MIGHTY GOOD!
I am the third generation in the door installation business.  My great uncle and grandfather started  the business as a storm door and storm window company. My dad took it over, bought an aluminum awning company and started making and installing items like aluminum awnings and sheds. I started doing door installations for the family business back when I was in college and restarted the business in 2001 with a sole focus on door installations.
My commitment to excellence began when I had a lawn mowing business at the age of 12. My dad would inspect my route every day and make me go back to fix so much as a single blade of unswept grass on a sidewalk. He was a taskmaster but taught me to do things right and completely and clean up afterwards. I began working in the family business due to my height: I was the only family member tall enough not to need a ladder to install doors. I’ve been installing doors since 1982.
